AKM-GSISpotted: Nina Dobrev and another hottie, soon after her breakup from boyfriend Austin Stowell.
The 27-year-old former Vampire Diaries star and Gossip Girl alum Chase Crawford, 30, were seen arriving at the Villa Lounge bar in West Hollywood Tuesday night, and later, walking together to the Bootsy Bellows nightclub. The two have hung out together before. A source told E! News exclusively Wednesday the two are just friends.
E! News had learned earlier that day Dobrev and Stowell, 31, had broken up recently. The two, who dated for at least seven months, did not comment. A source told E! News exclusively Dobrev had "called it off."
"It started to get hard with both their schedules," the source added. "Austin was filming a lot and in the past month, they barely saw each other. They remain on good terms."
Dobrev and Chace have been friends for a while. They and more friends spent Thanksgiving together in 2014 and in 2015, they joined his sister Candice Crawford and her husband and NFL star Tony Romo at a pre-Super Bowl party.
Fans began to speculate Dobrev and Stowell had broken up when she attended Super Bowl 50 without him.
