Let the jokes begin: Unforgettable has been canceled for the not once, not twice, but third time. Here where you say, "Unforgettable? I forgot that was a show."

The Poppy Montgomery series about a detective with a photographic memory started out on CBS's fall schedule and was canceled after one season. The show was canceled in 2012 after one season. Then other networks came calling and CBS reversed its decision a month later and ordered a second season for the next summer. It was renewed again for a third season, another summer run, and then canceled in 2014. That's two cancellations now. However, A&E couldn't forget Unforgettable and ordered a fourth season that premiered in November. Then it canceled it.

According to Variety, producer Sony Pictures Television may look for a new home for the drama. Can Unforgettable beat cancellation four times?

Whatever it's final fate may be, Unforgettable is not the first show to beat cancellation. Actually, far from it in today's recent revival craze. We just got a new season of The X-Files, Netflix is reviving Gilmore Girls and Showtime has Twin Peaks in the works. Those reboots and revivals are another story.

Take a walk down memory lane and rediscover what other shows beat cancellation.
