Time to get excited, Meghan Trainor fans. The singer just dropped some major news about her highly-anticipated sophomore album!
Speaking with Ryan Seacrest on the 2016 Grammy Awards red carpet, the singer—who's rocking a very chic new red hairdo in honor of the next phase in her career—revealed when the follow up to her 2015 album Title will be available to pre-order.
"I don't know if I'm allowed to say this," she admitted. "Around March. March 4, the pre-order will start." It may not be a release date, but it means we're one step closer to new tunes from the "All About That Bass" songstress, so we'll take it!
Trainor hit the red carpet with her father Gary as her date. She revealed that her sharp-dressed pop got himself ready all on his own. "He did all this himself," she told Ryan. "He did the bowtie and everything."
"It took a couple hours, but I got it," her dad quipped.
It was hard to tell who was more excited to be there: The first-time nominee (for Best New Artist) and performer or her dad! "Oh yeah, every party," Trainor revealed about their post-show plans. "I think Tyrese is having a dope party, I don't know."
Ryan joked: "I can't wait to see you and Tyrese breaking it down, sir."
"No problem," Gary replied. "I'll be there!" Now that's a video we're going to need to see!
