Charlie Puth just released a single with Selena Gomez, but he won't be taking her to the 58th Annual Grammy Awards.

The "We Don't Talk Anymore" singers are headed to the awards show separately, but it's not because there's "Bad Blood" between them! Puth told Ryan Seacrest that she would probably be heading to the Staples Center with BFF Taylor Swift. Plus, he had a different date in mind.

"I brought my mom as my date. I always said I would bring my mom as my date," he told Seacrest. "I think [Selena's] coming tonight, I think she's coming with Taylor [Swift]."

Even though they won't be attending together, Puth had nothing but nice things to say about his collaborator. "I literally held a microphone up. This girl is so talented, and before we submitted the album she sang the part and did all the harmonies," he continued. "She added so much to the album I am so happy to have collaborated with her."

Gomez appeared in Swift's music video for "Bad Blood," which also happened to take home the Grammy for Best Music Video. Swift, Gomez and the rest of the "Bad Blood" squad will have a ton to celebrate, so Puth we'll just have to congratulate them later this evening. Swift also took home the award for Best Pop Vocal Album for 1989.

Puth was also nominated in three separate categories this evening: Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media, Song of the Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. All of the nominations are for his hit song "See You Again" with Wiz Khalifa.
