Selena and Taylor (or Saylor, if you will), slayed the 2016 Grammys red carpet together, so maybe we should call them Slaylor, huh? Anyway, they were both taking photos on the red carpet individually, posing this way and that way and looking ridiculously beautiful. Then, Taylor obviously was ready to take a group pic with her best pal, so she tried to get Selena's attention.
Alas, Selena was not ready. Not at all. And that's when this happened:
Taylor reached out to her friend so they could take some photos together, and she was brutally rebuffed. Obviously, Selena didn't see Tay motion to her because she was too busy doing a little over-the-shoulder posing, and we all know when you're in the middle of a perfect over-the-shoulder move, you don't let anyone interrupt you. Not even Taylor Swift.
This moment could have been super awkward, but Taylor found her friend's laser focus on her own red carpet mojo really funny. She laughs a little bit as Selena totally ignores her to spend a little more time in the solo spotlight.
They eventually got a shot together, and as you can see below, the wait was totally worth it:
