If happy hour and weekend plans got you distracted, don't you fret—we've recapped the best highlights from Friday. Here are all the things you need to know about day 2 of New York Fashion Week.

Friends First: As expected, Jason Wu's front row was littered with stars, including Jennifer Hudson, Jaime King and Diane Kruger. Although Diane is usually a NYFW mainstay, she only attended Wu's show and is expected at Prabal Gurung, proving that she prioritizes her designer buds.

Bun Bound: If you can't use chopsticks to eat, there's another way to utilize the utensil: in your hair! Zimmermann's hairstylists used chopsticks to pull hair into the perfect, precise samurai bun.

Florals for Fall: It may have been 23 degrees outside, but inside the Kate Spade presentation, it looked like a beautiful spring garden. The brand is known for its feminine touches, especially with florals, but this season was relatively subdued compared to past lines, perhaps appealing to edgier tastes. Ellie Kemper, Kate Bosworth and Freida Pinto were all in attendance.

Social Media Favorite: Chromat designer Becca McCharen lit up the runway, literally. Her futuristic, sexy collection of lingerie, swimwear and not Kate Hudson's athleisure dominated fashion editors' Instagram accounts.

Let it Go: RiRi channeled her inner Frozen for her Fenty x Puma by Rihanna collection, painting models' hair white to get that frosted look. Guests included Jeremy Scott, Naomi Campbell, Chris Rock and more, while Bella and Gigi Hadid walked the catwalk. The singer looked delighted after the show, taking a half bow before embarking the runway. Missed the moment? We caught it with an exclusive sketch.
