Chris Stapleton made sure to thank the pop star first and foremost after he took the stage to accept the award for Best Country Album at the 2016 Grammys for his record, Traveller—but it's probably not for what you might think!
"I'd like to thank Taylor Swift for glitter-bombing me before," he joked, referring to the shimmer spectacle from her opening performance of "Out of the Woods."
The "Blank Space" performer loved the shout-out and soon after responded to the mention on her Twitter account. "I glitter-bomb because I care," she tweeted. LOL!
On a more serious note, the musician continued his speech by expressing his appreciation for the honor and his supporters.
"This is something that you never, ever, ever dream of," he said. "I'm super grateful for it. I'd like to thank my wife first of all, all the guys in the band, all the guys in the crew, all the fans, everybody who has ever helped me out along the way."
