Start your countdown clocks now, Outlander fans!

Season two of Outlander will officially premiere on Starz on Saturday, April 9 at 9 p.m., the network announced on Thursday, meaning this Droughtlander finally has an end date.

While April 9 sounds like an absolute lifetime away, it's really not; it's only 57 days! That's less than two months! That's only nine Saturdays!

In fact, that might not be enough time. We may need all that time and more to prepare ourselves for what's to come in season two, when Claire (Caitriona Balfe) and Jamie (Sam Heughan) head to France to try and change some history and prevent a war, while also trying to recover from the traumas they endured at the end of last season.

That, however, is not all we have to look forward to in season two. Spoilers lie ahead for those of you who haven't read the books...

If you're anything like us, you're still a little giddy over the casting of Brianna that served as the official confirmation that we will, in fact, be meeting the daughter of Claire and Jamie.

Actress Sophie Skelton certainly looks the part, and it seems like she'll fit right in with fellow new cast members Richard Rankin (as Roger), Stanley Weber (as Comte St. Germain), Frances De La Tour (as Mother Hildegarde), Robert Cavanah (as Jared Fraser), and Laurence Dobiesz (as Black Jack's brother, Alex).

Now, if you'll excuse us, we're off to spend the next 1,368 hours watching, rewatching, reading, rereading, and dreaming about Outlander

Outlander returns Saturday, April 9 at 9 p.m. on Starz.
