David Bowie's family has a reason to celebrate today.

Exactly one month after the Grammy winner passed away from a battle with cancer, his son decided to share some exciting news with family and fans on social media.

"1 month since dad died today. Made this card for him at Christmas," Duncan Jones wrote on Twitter with a photo of a cartoon baby. "Due in June. Circle of life. Love you, granddad."

The Hollywood director continued, "& the best news, if you've been a fan of my 'directors as babies', I'll now have access to my own, poseable model!"

Duncan's wife and photographer Rodene Jones also had a little fun with the announcement. After sharing her husband's message on social media, she added, "Shame on those of you who just thought I was really fat and didn't say anything HAHA. ;)."

The happy announcement comes as David's music continues to live on. After breaking records on Vevo last month, the Recording Academy announced that Lady Gaga will perform an "experiential" tribute for the late rock star at Monday's Grammy Awards.

"We had already booked Lady Gaga on this year's show, but when David passed—almost in a single moment—we knew we had to change direction," Grammys executive producer Ken Ehrlich said in a statement. "We immediately spoke and agreed that she should be the one to honor David. She's perfect for it. So I reached out to Nile [Rodgers] and, before long, we were on our way to creating what we believe will not only make a great Grammy moment, but one befitting of David."

Shortly after David's passing, Duncan shared a thoughtful black and white throwback photo of himself with his father. "Very sorry and sad to say it's true," he wrote to his followers. "I'll be offline for a while. Love to all."

Luckily, he couldn't help but share the good news with everyone. Congratulations to the happy couple.
