Kate Hudson and Nick Jonas both found themselves in San Francisco over the weekend while celebrating Super Bowl 50. And while there were plenty of events and activities in and around the Bay Area, the two ended up stopping by the same star-studded party before game day.
E! News has learned that the actress and "Jealous" singer both attended the sixth annual DIRECTV Super Saturday Night co-hosted by Mark Cuban's AXS TV. And as it turns out, the pair was hanging out throughout the night.
"They were talking, but not overly flirty," a source shared with E! News. "They are not a couple."
In other words, a report that the pair was "canoodling" in the VIP section is an exaggeration. Instead, it looks more like two friends hanging out over a fun, big weekend.
Besides, the former Jonas Brothers member has made it clear that he's very much single. While attending a separate Super Bowl party, Nick told E! News' Sibley Scoles that he won't be focused on Valentine's Day this year because his music career remains oh-so hot.
"It's right before the Grammy's," Nick shared with us. "So there's a lot of stuff happening in L.A., so I've gotta concentrate."
Despite proclaiming his relationship status loud and clear, the Kingdom star still can't seem to escape the dating rumors. Just last week, reports circulated that Nick was seeing Lily Collins.
And nobody can seem to forget that Complex interview where Nick described his "unbelievable connection" to Kate.
"Kate's incredible," he told the publication. "We had an unbelievable connection as two humans who just admire things about each other, and see something in each other that's beautiful. Out of my best effort to respect her and her privacy, I'm not going to say if we had sex or not. But we did have a beautiful connection. Even now I have so much admiration and respect. She's amazing."
