Sad Eli Manning is sad.
Now, Eli has two Super Bowl rings. So we highly doubt he was actually upset or sad watching brother Peyton Manning beat the Carolina Panthers on Sunday night. Our theory is that Eli, being an NFL player himself, knows how quickly a game can turn around. So he probably wasn't ready to celebrate his big bro's win quite yet. Once the final seconds ticked off, then he probably cheered and clapped for Peyton.
But the GIF of Eli staring blankly straight ahead while the rest of the Manning family jumped around and cheered has already been around the Internet (twice) and will probably haunt the QB for the rest of time. But don't make fun of him, because when you look at the image of Eli being a total Debbie Downer, don't you see yourself? C'mon, we've all been Sad Eli Manning at some point in our lives:
