Welcome back to Stars Hollow!
The first photo from the set of Gilmore Girls' highly anticipated Netflix reunion series is here and we have Michel himself to thank for it!
Original cast member Yanic Truesdale posted a selfie with Lauren Graham from the Los Angeles set on Friday, and longtime fans will surely get emotional when they see where the photo was snapped: The Dragonfly Inn!
"First day back at the Inn with my old boss. Fun times! #GilmoreGirlsRevival #WarnerBros," Truesdale captioned the super-cute photo. Yep, it sounds like the Dragonfly Inn is still up and running and Michel is still working there!
When E! News caught up with Truesdale at the show's reunion back in June 2015 at the ATX TV Festival in Austin, we asked him what he thought Michel was up to. His prediction? Michel is "probably running an inn on its own, calling the shots," he guessed. "Something with a French name, with good croissants!" And later, during the panel, he added that Michel was definitely still "patronizing people for sure, somewhere!"
Filming on the four-episode revival series officially kicked off on Feb. 2, with series creator Amy Sherman Palladino and husband Daniel Palladino set to write and direct every installment, each taking place in a different season, giving fans an entire calendar year with their favorite characters.
Officially confirmed to appear in the series are Lauren Graham, Alexis Bledel, Kelly Bishop and Scott Patterson, with Sean Gunn and Keiko Agena also set to return. Truesdale broke the news that he would be reprising his role on Twitter, writing, "Happy to be back and reconnect with my old pal Michel."
And while Netflix hasn't commented on his casting, Matt Czuchry is reportedly signed on as the first of Rory's three major former loves to make an appearance.
No premiere date for Gilmore Girls' revival has been set.
