Who's ready for some nostalgia overload on this wonderful Flashback Friday?

Nick Carter released his new single and music video this afternoon, and no, that's not the nostalgia we're talking about—although it's totally giving us a trip down memory lane to hear Carter release music again.

The Backstreet Boys singer's track "19 in 99" is exactly as it sounds, a throwback tribute to the year 1999 when he was 19 years old, and rehashes all of the wonderful things he used to enjoy back in the day. "Countdown back to Millennium, bleach blond, party on / Tank tops, tube socks and Filas / Skateboards, SEGAs," he sings.

But the visuals give it even more justice.

After turning down a beach day with the family, a straight-laced Carter lets loose and digs into his 1999 treasure chest and brings it back to a time that he fondly remembers.

From mixing a bunch of his favorite cereals in one bowl while dancing in his boxers, to strutting with a boombox on his shoulder bumping Tupac, Carter's video made us wish we could party like it's 1999. For added nostalgia effect, there were VHS tapes everywhere, a TP-ing excursion, and bandmate A.J. McLean made a special cameo by delivering a bunch of pizza to Nick's house.

(And then creeped on Carter while he put on his old BSB gear and danced to "I Want It That Way" while the wind machine was on full-blast.)

"19 in 99" is off of Carter's third solo album All American, which was released in November. The 36-year-old will be heading out on tour for his latest project later this month, kicking off festivities in Sacramento, Calif., on Feb. 24, and will return in March just in time to tend to his fatherly duties.
