Teresa Giudice's days of confinement are officially over.

After the Real Housewives of New Jersey star was released from prison in December, she was still not officially done with her 15-month sentencing. Thus, for the last several months she's had to wear an ankle bracelet under house arrest.

However, E! News can confirm Teresa's sentence is now officially over. Her attorney, James J. Leonard Jr., tells us, "Teresa is no longer on house arrest and no longer wearing an ankle bracelet,"

He adds, "She's very excited and very much looking forward to starting a new chapter in her life."

Though Teresa has been under house arrest, she was able to do a few things outside of the home, including grocery shopping, working out, going to work and anything that was given permission by her probation officer.

In fact, just last month she made her first red carpet appearance since being released from prison for the opening of Melissa Gorga's store, Envy By Melissa Gorga.

Teresa told E! News exclusively at the time, "I'm feeling great. I'm happy to be here to support my brother and my sister-in-law Melissa for the grand opening on her boutique Envy."

However, though the sources tell us Teresa is "savoring being back with everyone," and trying to continue to stay strong, there's no doubt the days are bittersweet for the Giudice family. Come spring, Teresa's husband, Joe Giudice, will begin his 41-month sentence.
