'Ye joined Big Boy on Los Angeles' The Real 92.3 Thursday and revealed why he went in so hard against Wiz and how the two eventually shook hands and made up.
"For people who felt a way about the kids comment, I ain't mean it in a harmful way," he explained. "I just saw my wife's initials and reacted because that's my family. People be thinking because my wife on TV or because she's been in an SNL skit or whatever type of history [there is] that it's open season or something—like it's okay, it's in a meme No. That's the mother of my kid, and I'm 'Ye."
He continued, "I just wanna show I'm a man at the end of the day. Imma hold my wife down, and Imma hold my family down. So that's the way I reacted."
However, he says he's "happy" they got the whole thing cleared up. "My brother, Malik Yusef, got us on the phone. He's very close to Wiz; he's also very close to me. We chopped it up and squashed it."
The two rappers aren't the only ones to put their beef in the past. Amber Rose—Kanye's ex and Wiz's baby mama—and Kim Kardashian also proved that they're cool. The two ladies met up at Kris Jenner's house and took an Internet-breaking selfie (that Kanye confirmed was, in fact, real), revealing that all is well.
"Kim called Amber directly and squashed this beef once and for all," a source close to Amber told E! News.
Another insider told us Rose was overheard chatting about the meet up at a club that same evening.
"Amber was bragging to friends what a mature thing Kim did," the source explained. "Kim called her up and invited her to her mom's house to talk. They squashed all beef and they really got along. Amber thinks Kim is great."
Looks like everything is good in the neighborhood!
