Model Stephanie Seymour appeared in court Tuesday to answer a drunken driving charge, and she looked pretty glamorous.

Appearing in a black dress, black overcoat and leather gloves, Seymour looked prepared to face what awaited her. The 47-year-old former Victoria's Secret model was arrested following a car accident in Connecticut last month after she backed her Land Rover into a Mercedes Benz on an off-ramp on Interstate 95, E! News confirmed at the time.

According to the police report obtained by E! News, a police officer "detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage omitting from her mouth" and noticed that she "fumbled through her purse" after "six or seven requests" for her license, registration and insurance. After handing over her license and a credit card, Seymour refused to complete field sobriety tests so was subsequently arrested for operating under the influence and unsafe backing.

The mother of four was released on $500 bond.

During her appearance in court today, Seymour told the judge she applied to an alcohol-counseling program, according to reports. Her involvement in the program could potentially lead to the charges being dropped. Seymour's lawyer told the judge she wasn't looking for preferential treatment but instead wanted to put the Jan. 15 incident behind her.
