James Corden has had an incredible year, and it's only getting better!

The Late Late Show host has landed another gig in 2016: the host of the 70th Annual Tony Awards! With such a successful year with his late-night talk show, it's no surprise that he'd be chosen to lead such a star-studded night. And this isn't his first experience with the Tony Awards! In fact, he won a Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Play Tony Award for his performance in One Man, Two Guvnors.

Is there nothing he can't do?

"I'm absolutely thrilled to be hosting the Tony Awards," said Corden in a statement. "Both times I've worked on Broadway have been amongst the happiest times of my professional life. I consider it to be a huge honor to be asked to host such an incredible night. It's going to be fun; I can't wait to dust off my tap shoes!"

Even Modern Family star Jesse Tyler Fergusonis excited.

The Tony Awards will be broadcast live from the Beacon Theatre in New York City on Sunday, June 12. Before that, however, Corden will have to get through Sunday's Super Bowl, where he's slated to air a special segment right after the game. But while traveling to the big game, Corden's coming across an unlikely surprise on the side of the road: Chris Martin.

In a preview for the next Carpool Karaoke, which is set to air tonight, Corden is making his way north to San Francisco when he catches Coldplay's lead singer trying to hitch a ride. As the Super Bowl halftime performer, Martin desperately needs a ride, so Corden picks him up and they travel together.

"The road to the Super Bowl Halftime is paved with karaoke," the preview teases.

It looks like they'll be singing "Viva la Vida," "Adventure of a Lifetime" and more. Watch the hilarious preview above to see what sort of antics the British gentlemen get into while road tripping together. And to find out how Carpool Karaoke got its start, watch our video below!
