Kate Winslet is a winner in every sense in the word.

Though the Jobs star didn't take home the SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role (The Danish Girl's Alicia Vikander did), Winslet still had a fantastic time at the star-studded ceremony. "SAG. Is it not alarming, you know? The use of that word? SAG Awards," the actress joked on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Monday. "You know, it's always struck me as being faintly amusing. I don't think we kind of laugh about that enough." Host Jimmy Kimmel joked, "It's funny because no one there has any sagging going on at all!"

"You are right about that!" Winslet said. "And it's slightly unnerving."

In all seriousness, Winslet said Saturday's event was "really a lot of fun." However, she added, "It's such a strange and wonderful time, awards season. I suddenly realized recently that we find ourselves in this incredible situation, to have entered a competition that we did not choose to enter. And then you find yourself really wanting to win. It's like, 'What's happening to me?!'"

"Do you really have that?" Kimmel asked. "You really want to win?"

"I suddenly do a little bit, actually, if I'm honest," said Winslet, who recently won a Golden Globe award. "I think it's natural, isn't it, to want to win one of those great big fabulous prizes?"

Kimmel said many winners often "lie" about not preparing an acceptance speech. "I'm done saying that! I'm done saying, 'It's great to be nominated.' Yeah, it is. It really, really is! But it's really great to win! It's like so great!" Winslet said. "I'm so shameless. It's so disgusting, isn't it?"

A little later, Kimmel showed Winslet a photo of herself touching Susan Sarandon's boobs at the event. "Look at Michael Shannon!" the 40-year-old actress marveled. "He's so delighted."

"I don't think he knows fully what's happening before him," Kimmel said.

"I can tell you: I'm feeling Susan Sarandon's tits," Winslet said. "See, shameless!"

"Did you ask first?" Kimmel asked.

"No! Of course not! I'm just like, 'Hi, Susan!'" Winslet said as she reenacted the candid moment for the studio audience. "I think I may have even felt Kristen Wiig's butt as well at some point."

Kimmel also brought up Winslet's SAG Awards reunion with her Titanic co-star Leonardo DiCaprio. "People are always so excited to see Leo and myself in the same space, which, you know, at the end of the day, that's so lovely, isn't it? It's been 20 years and people still get suck a kick out of it. It's really quite endearing and we do laugh about it," she said of remaining friends with the Oscar nominee. "We were giggling about it last night. I was like, 'My, God! Can you actually believe it that people get so overwhelmed by the Jack and Rose thing still today?'"
