After a slew of well-deserved praise for her performance on Grease: Live, Vanessa Hudgens is thanking everyone who supported her along the way.

"I can't believe @GoGrease is OVER! Grand opening and grand closing. Thank you to everyone who watched & supported me last night," the actress, who played Rizzo in the Fox live musical production, penned on Twitter.

"Doing #GreaseLive was one of the most incredible experiences and I'm so glad you guys liked it as much as I did. Till next time Rizz #PinkLadyForLife."

Hudgens stole several scenes throughout the three-hour show, and proved that the time-tested show buiz adage—the show must go on—is a real thing.

The star announced that her father Greg Hudgens passed away just hours before she performed in front of millions of viewers.

"I am so sad to say that last night my daddy, Greg passed away from stage 4 cancer," she wrote. "Thank you to everyone who kept him in your prayers."

"Tonight, I do the show in his honor," she tweeted.

At the end of the show, the ending credits paid tribute to Hudgens' late father.

"In loving memory of Greg Hudgens. June 22, 1950 – January 30, 2016," the tribute read as behind-the-scenes clips aired.

Our thoughts are with the Hudgens family.
