Game of Thrones season six "almost killed us," cast member Emilia Clarke tells E! News, and speaking of killed, what is really up with Jon Snow? And Sansa Stark, for that matter?

Clarke, who plays "Mother of Dragons" Daenerys Targaryen, and co-stars Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister) and Sophie Turner (Stark) chatted with E! News' Giuliana Rancic and Brad Goreski on the red carpet at the 2016 SAG Awards Saturday about the new episodes of the hit HBO series, which will begin airing on April 24.

"Legitimately, this season almost killed us," Clarke said. "Like, it is epic. Like, it's huge. It's insane. It's silly."

Spoiler alert!

At the end of season five, one of the show's veteran characters, Jon Snow, played by Kit Harington, was last seen, well, lying on the frozen ground after being stabbed multiple times. The actor recently said Snow is "dead" and Coster-Waldau talked to Rancic about the opening scene of season six...which features Snow.

Past veteran, beloved Game of Thrones characters have been killed off plenty of times in the past. But Harington has been spotted on set in recent months and he also appears in Game of Thrones' season six promo pics. He also walked the red carpet at the SAG Awards, but did not speak to reporters.

So perhaps there's all dead...and mostly dead, which as many of us know, is "slightly alive."

Another character's fate that remains uncertain is Sansa Stark, who grew up with Snow. After what appeared to be a boost in confidence and power in season four, after joining Petyr "Littlefinger" Baelish (Aidan Gillen), the most recent season depicted her as a victim, which has angered many fans.

Stark was last seen escaping her ruthless, rapist husband. Turner told Goreski season six is "a really great season" for her character, who will gain "all the respect that she deserves."

"It's a big year for her," the actress said.
