Sore losers they are not.

Everyone says it's an honor just to be nominated—but is it?

Think about it: Sure, it's great to get to take time out of your Saturday night to get all gussied up and hit the red carpet with the industry's best and brightest. But wouldn't it be way better if you actually won an award on top of that? No one dislikes being told they're the best in their field, right?

Unfortunately for the cast of Veep, they wouldn't know. That's because they lost tonight at the SAG Awards.

Julia Louis-DreyfusTony HaleAnna Chlumsky and the rest of the gang were nominated for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series, up against fellow shows The Big Bang TheoryKey & PeeleModern FamilyTransparent and Orange Is the New Black. Surprising almost no one, the cast of OITNB took home the prize, leaving the Veep gang as...you guessed it...losers.

Luckily, they took it all in stride. In fact, they're totally owning their place as not-first (if you'll recall, they also didn't win at this month's Golden Globes). Julia Louis-Dreyfus took to Instagram to let everyone know they're coping just fine, posting a pic of the group with the signature "L" on their foreheads. Except for Tony Hale; he was too busy guzzling the night's signature free champagne to free up one of his hands.

All in a day's work, right?
