Who knew that Ellie Kemper's road to fame rivals Leonardo DiCpario's hardships filming The Revenant.

The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt actress stopped by for an exclusive chat with E! News' Brad Goreski on the red carpet at the 22nd Screen Actors Guild Awards, where she took a trip down memory lane, reliving a Kmart commercial from the beginning of her career that involved some people's worst nightmare: A real, live tarantula crawling across her face!

"That is how I earned my SAG card, with that commercial, so hooray. That was a real tarantuala. There was a tarantula wrangler. That was my mini version of The Revenant, I guess," she joked. "That was the toughest thing I've ever had to do for film."

"The tarantula was so large, and it was soft. It was like a kitten almost," she continued, giving Brad pause.

"Like a kitten?" he asked, incredulously.

"It wasn't like a spider because it was so big," she continued. "Furry to the touch. And also, I guess an animal's an animal, but the wrangler warned me, 'It won't bite you.' And I believed the wrangler."

As the interview wrapped up, the comedienne, nominated for an Actor for her work on the Netflix comedy, made sure to pay her respects to the furry friend that helped kick off her career. "Thank you," she told Brad, before adding, "Thank you, tarantula!" LOL!
