Jordan Strauss/Invision/APAriel Winter went on a magical carpet ride for her birthday!
The Modern Family star opened up about her amazing 18th birthday celebration when she chatted with Brad Goreski on E!'s Live From the Red Carpet at 22nd Screen Actors Guild Awards at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, revealing her party had a "Moroccan" theme!
"We had Aladdin guys and belly dancers and we had a a lot of really cool things," she dished. "My cake was awesome!"
There to celebrate her big 18th birthday? Her friends and family, with more than 300 loved ones in attendance, Winter revealed, admitting, "That's insane right?!"
She went on to explain, "I'm Greek, so you gotta factor in family members, how many cousins I have, and stuff like that!"
Earlier in the week, Winter's Modern Family co-stars took a break from filming to surprise the star with a cake on the ABC hit comedy's set. Co-star Sofia Vergara posted a snapshot of the actress blowing out her candles and simply captioned the picture, "Happy bday @arielwinter." Awww! (The cast is nominated for Best Ensemble in a Comedy Series at the SAG Awards.)
Looking gorgeous on the SAGs red carpet in a black mermaid-style gown, Winter needed help from Brad getting up the stairs and admitted her Romona Keveza dress wasn't the most comfortable, but "You do what you gotta do!"
She then admitted, "In the car, when I tell you that I laid down like this and stared at the ceiling because I could not get up, that's what happened."
