When you think of Idris Elba, what thought first comes to mind? "Prestigious actor?" Of course. He's up for not one but two SAG Awards tonight! "James Bond?" Maybe. We'd all like to see him in that role. "Beyoncé?" Probably, because no one should ever forget the fact that he starred with her in the iconic 2009 film, Obsessed.

But before all those terms, most people see Idris Elba and immediately think: "sexy." And the Beasts of No Nation star is more than fine with being seen as a sex symbol.

"It's nice to be described as sexy, isn't it?" he told Giuliana Rancic on E!'s Live From the Red Carpet at the 22nd Screen Actors Guild Awards. "It's a compliment. What can I say? It's cool."

It's a good thing you are comfortable with that title, Mr. Elba, because you're probably going to be labeled as "sexy" for the rest of your life.

The Luther actor has had a really fantastic career, especially in the past few years. But he revealed to us that the biggest moment of his life was when he officially joined the Screen Actors Guild.

"[The SAG Awards] are good because it's my peers. We all work hard and everyone respects each other. It's nice to get that nod from everyone," he said. "When I first got my SAG card, that was the biggest moment of my life. It's better than any award when you get that moment."

Sexy, talented and appreciative? Thank you for existing, Idris Elba.
