Alison Brie and Dave Franco have been engaged since this summer—and they're in no rush to get hitched.

"I'm just postponing planning," Brie tells me. "It's good. It's easy to not plan."

As E! News exclusively reported, the Neighbors star popped the question after about three years of dating with an Irene Neuwirth-designed rose gold diamond ring.

"He's a sweetheart—and very handsome," Brie said.

I caught up with the actress while she was promoting her new romantic comedy How to Be Single alongside co-star Anders Holms. The movie follows a young woman (Dakota Johnson) who breaks up with her longtime boyfriend so she can find herself and experience being single. Rebel Wilson is her hard partying best friend.

Brie plays a woman intent on meeting a husband through online dating. Sparks first fly with Tom (Holms), who not only owns the bar she lives above, but who is also shown in one scene with a massive erection in his underwear.

"Everyone's wondering—did it look like an actual penis?" Brie asked Holms about his prosthesis.

"Here's my favorite story of working with this film," Holms recalled. "We put in the dildo—that's the scientific word—into my pants and they were like, 'That's insane!' And I was like, 'Yeah, it looks pretty comical.' So then the prop lady was like, 'Give it to me!' She pulls out a blade and just whittles off two and a half inches of it and I was like, 'Here ya go! Pop that sucker back in there!'"

She actually didn't get it right the first time. "There were two," Holms said. "She trims down the ends so it was all boxy kind of like Picasso and then they ended up cutting the middle out and putting it on the end of the another dildo."

Brie cracked, "To retain that nice mushroom tip."

And we'll leave you with that.

How to Be Single is in theaters on Feb. 12.
