In an effort to put you into nostalgia overload, we present you with a very fun fact about that one show you might have heard of, Friends. There have a long list of celeb cameos through the course of its 10 seasons, but chances are one of the star appearances you'll never forget from the series is Julia Roberts.
For those who don't remember, Roberts played Susie Moss, a woman who knew Chandler Bing (Matthew Perry) from elementary school in "The One After the Super Bowl Part 2" (season 2, episode 13). Bing didn't remember her at first, because she was so gorgeous, so she gave him a quick reminder.
"Fourth grade, glasses, I used to carry around a box of animal crackers like a purse."
Lightbulb.
So, of course, the two began flirting, and ended up going on a couple of dates. And that's when the twist occurred—Susie was arranging a revenge plot all along! See, Chandler made fun of Susie as a kid and once pulled up her skirt during a class play, which caused everyone to see her undies.
Sigh, yeah, letting go is hard for some people. Anyway, we digress.
She clearly wasn't over it, and got Chandler back by having him wear her underwear, and then leaving him naked with just her pair of panties in the men's bathroom at a restaurant. When she explained why she did what she did, Chandler said, "How could you still be upset about that?"
She responded, "Why don't you call me in 20 years and tell me if you're still upset about this?"
AND THAT'S WHERE TODAY COMES IN! According to IMDB, that episode aired on Jan. 28, 1996, which, as one diligent Reddit user noted, is today!
