Rob Kardashian appears to be starting a fitness comeback as he continues on his road to recovery after his recent health scare.
The 28-year-old posted on his Instagram page Thursday a black and white photo showing him lifting weights at gym, while a bottle of Sparkletts water with a sports cap and two phones rest on the floor. The reality star was rushed to a hospital late last month and diagnosed with diabetes, after largely staying out of the spotlight for more than a year as he battled weight gain and other personal issues.
He recently surfaced in public several times, with new girlfriend Blac Chyna, 27. She may have inspired his gym return; She recently posted on her Snapchat a photo showing two people's feet, including a man wearing Yeezy sneakers, on a wooden floor with an emoji of a bicep. Also spotted, a bottle of Sparkletts water with a sports cap.
Chyna sparked romance rumors early this week when she posted on Instagram a photo of her cuddling with Rob.
The two were most recently spotted Thursday in Tarzana, where she lives with King Cairo, the 3-year-old son she shares with ex-fiancé Tyga, who has been dating Rob's sister Kylie Jenner, 18. Rob was seen driving Chyna in a black Bentley. He looked scruffier than usual, sporting a beard and mustache, and wore a Los Angeles Dodgers baseball cap.
Rob had plateaued several times during his long fitness journey. He tried to lose weight and get into shape last summer. One of sister Khloe Kardashian's besties, Malika Haqq, had told E! News in September Rob "has been working out and taking care of himself." Rob also tried to shed the pounds about a year and a half ago, when he obtained the help of Khloe's personal trainer, Gunner Peterson.
