Lena Dunham isn't the only Girls star to get herself into hairy situations—Allison Williams just got banged.

No, not on the HBO show, where the 27-year-old actress' character, Marnie, often gets some prime action. Early Thursday, Williams debuted a new hairstyle—long, sleek locks with a side part and bangs.

"It's 3:20 am and @mrchrismcmillan just banged me ‼️ #PastMyBedtime," she wrote on Instagram, alongside a selfie.

Chris McMillian is a Beverly Hills hairstylist whose list of other celebrity clients includes Jennifer AnistonCourteney Cox and Miley Cyrus. He shared on his Instagram page a selfie showing him with Williams, revealing that the inspiration behind her look is English actress and singer Jane Birkin, 69, who sported the look in the '70s and who inspired the famed Hermès Birkin bag.

Williams later shared another pic.

"Step 1: cut bangs on nervous girl who wants them for a character she's about to play," she wrote. "Step 2: take 1000 mediocre selfies and 1 or 2 good ones; Step 3: assess selfie mediocrity (pictured here). @mrchrismcmillan."

Williams did not specify her new acting role.

While the actress has usually worn her light brown hair long and wavy, Dunham, 29, who plays main star Hannah on Girls, has debuted a slew of different hairstyles over the years—pixie cuts, a platinum blond bowl cut and even a mint green look.

Co-stars Zosia Mamet, 27, who began playing Shosh as a brunette, and Jemima Kirk, 30, who plays Jessa, have also often changed up her look, with the latter even posting a Twitter video last year showing her cutting her own hair.

Season five of Girls premieres on HBO on Feb. 21.
