instagram.com/skelotim; E!By now you've heard of the amazing Tim O, also known as @skelotim on Instagram. If you've been living under a very large Beauty Blender, you should know Tim is a makeup maven taking over the Internet with his food-inspired makeup looks. This genius is capable of creating gorgeous lewks drawing inspiration from Bud Light cans, Flamin' Hot Cheetos, Ruffles, Takis, and so much more of your favorite comfort foods. We knew our obsession with junk food was serious, but we never knew we could take it to this level. Thank you, dear makeup guru, for showing us how to be proud of our dietary choices, rather than ashamed. We got re-obsessed when he posted his latest Bud Light makeup look and to honor that, we decided to recreate some of Tim's iconic foodie faces. Unfortunately, we had only the makeup in our purse and the violent lighting of our office bathroom in which to craft these looks. Spoiler alert: we look effing terrible.
1. Bud Light. That face, though! Our job is all #werk today, apparently. Anyhoo, here's what happened with this mess. We don't typically carry blue lipstick or shadow, so we had to improvise. Severely. We did have a tube of blue mascara, however. Which means—you guessed it—to recreate this look, we smeared that shiz all over our mouth. Our highlight comes from the bulbs of the bathroom and a very heavy VSCO filter. Instead of glowing like a can of Bud Light, we look like we beer-bonged 85 of them.
2. Cheddar and Sour Cream Ruffles. Okay! Things are looking up here. At least we've got the colors right. We wiped some more of that blue mascara on our eyelids and used orange lipstick for our pout. We totally could have put it on our eyes and waterline as well, but all the makeup remover in the world couldn't undo a tragedy that deep.
3. Takis. We can't even justify this.
4. Wild! Berry Pop-Tart. You can't really see it, but we swear there's blue on our lids like Tim's. We rubbed two kinds of pink lipstick on our eyes and then cried internally at our failed attempt to master this look.
5. Flamin' Hot Cheetos. The best part of this being our last look was that we didn't even need orange eye shadow to make it happen. Our eyelids were so raw by the end of this challenge they pretty much resemble Flamin' Hot Cheetos themselves. We did, however, use the orange lipstick again to bring out that flaming rawness —and because we didn't own the lip color Tim was slaying. Tim, we're sorry we have failed you.
