Congratulations are in order for Marisa Ramirez!

E! News has learned that the stunning Blue Bloods star is a mommy-to-be and expecting her first child due in May. People first reported the story.

While the 38-year-old's exciting confirmation is news to us, it's just as unexpected for her.

"This was a complete surprise," Ramirez told People. "Some mornings I wake up and forget I'm pregnant! It just seems like it was meant to be—a happy surprise."

While no one will know the sex of the baby until she gives birth four months from now, Ramirez couldn't avoid announcing the news to her on-screen family for too long.

"Donnie [Wahlberg] has known for awhile," she added to the magazine. "He did a little happy dance when I told him and he's been extremely supportive and sweet."

One thing Wahlberg can't help her with is avoiding pregnancy cravings. While she's itching for Hamburger Helper and croissants, Ramirez has loosening the reigns on her workout regimen.

"I have been giving in to those cravings in moderation. In the first trimester, my body changing was so hard for me to accept," she said. "Now all I do is laugh about it."

With a baby on the way, there's a lot to laugh about. Congratulations!
