InstagramTrig Palin has wasted little time getting to know his newborn niece, Sailor Grace.
The youngest brother of mom Bristol Palin practiced his cradling technique as he held the three-month-old infant on Monday, as pictured in an adorable candid photo shared on her Instagram account.
In the snapshot, the 7-year-old is seen giving his niece a sweet kiss on the forehead as Bristol embraces the duo in her arm.
"Trig officially loves her #mybrotherhasmorechromosomesthanyou," the former Dancing With the Stars contestant captioned the picture.
While the baby is just a few weeks old, little Sailor has already been at the center of controversy surrounding her famous mother when critics alleged she was lying about her daughter's true birth date.
"For all the people saying I gave birth 11/4/15...here is my IV that was started on 12/22/15 when I was admitted, my baby girl was born 12/23/15 stop trying to create controversy where none exists, desperation is the ugliest thing," she captioned a split photo of herself in a hospital bed alongside her famous mother, former Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin as well as a close up of her IV bracelet. The photo was later deleted from the account.
From the looks of this photo, it's clear the newborn is in very protective and loving hands.
