InstagramTina Simpson isn't a regular mom—she's a cool mom!
Tina, mother to Jessica Simpson and Ashlee Simpson Ross, celebrated her birthday with her family but made sure to fit in some extra time for her sons-in-law, Evan Ross and Eric Johnson. The whole hang gathered in Mexico to celebrate Monday, but the pictures she shared proved to be a little too wild for some.
In one photo, the mom of two is lying down on a chaise lounge chair with her legs spread eagle while Eric lies in between them, also with his legs spread apart. Some commenters labeled the picture as "weird" and "slightly inappropriate," but most of them focused on the fun the picture's subjects were having and wished Tina a happy birthday.
In the second photo, which is really a picture in a picture, Tina sits behind Evan while wrapping her arm around him. "Blessed by the 2 best son in laws!!!" she captioned the image. Evan had posted the original version and wrote a sweet tribute to his mother-in-law.
"Happy birthday @tinersimpson. Love you!!! We are having the best trip ever!!!," he wrote.
It looks like Tina was surrounded by a whole lot of L.O.V.E. for her 56th birthday. Although Jessica is busy with her fashion line and Ashlee is a new mom once again, the Simpsons always make it a priority to get the family together for some quality time. Jessica, Eric, Evan and Ashlee and their children spent New Year's Eve together and snapped an adorable group shot to add to their photo albums AKA Instagram.
"Such a fun New Years," Ashlee wrote alongside the photo booth pic. "Happy 2016! Great family vibes!!"
Those family vibes are only getting stronger as time goes by!
