Every bride needs the perfect gown—a mantra newlywed Jamie-Lynn Sigler seems to know very well.

The former Sopranos star said "I Do" Saturday afternoon after a three-year engagement to her longtime beau, former Washington Nationals infielder Cutter Dykstra, with whom she has her 2-year-old son, Beau Kyle Dykstra.

But, before she could marry the man of her dreams, the 34-year-old actress had to find the perfect winter white. While she was initially sure of what she didn't want in a wedding dress, the mirror would inevitably surprise her.

"I went shopping at a place in Long Island with my mom called The Wedding SalonI walked in and the lady was like, 'What are you looking for?'" she told People. "And I was like, 'I don't want sweetheart, I don't want ball gown' and that's exactly what I'm wearing. I feel like a princess in it."

A California princess—with a very high-fashion label.

"It's Oscar de la Renta, a sweetheart, strapless, fitted, and then just kind of goes out," she told the magazine. "It's everything."

While her picture-perfect gown was everything she never knew she always wanted, the search for it was even more sentimental.

"I didn't go through designers or anything, I wanted it more for my mom, I wanted her to have that fun experience with me. It's just simple and strapless," she said. "I feel like Belle in this dress."
