The Blacklist leading lady, who is expecting her first child with artist Dan Estabrook, is already off to a busy 2016.
"I haven't told anybody yet, but I'm going to have a girl," she announced during an appearance on Live! With Kelly and Michael.
In November, E! News exclusively confirmed the actress was three months pregnant, though little else was known about the baby news.
Not only will she be welcoming a daughter into her star-studded life, but she will be doing it as an engaged lady. The brunette beauty also confirmed that she and Estabrook are set to wed.
"We definitely were in it for the long haul when we made a human," she said of her fiancé. According to Boone, the engagement arrived around the same time as their pregnancy news.
Boone seems to be settling quite nicely into pregnant life, particularly when it comes to those eccentric cravings.
"The coolest thing about pregnancy for me is that your body just craves what it wants and then also you can kind of be like 'I'm going to eat this because I'm pregnant,'" she told the co-hosts.
While this mom-to-be is proudly sporting her baby bump, will her on-screen character share in her baby fever? Boone is staying mum on the subject.
While she won't confirm or deny whether FBI profiler Elizabeth Keen will be sporting a baby bump on the NBC show, she did insist it's not too hard to keep her's hidden for filming.
"There are a lot of ways to hide a pregnancy," she said, citing Kerry Washington's recent real-life pregnancy on Scandal as a prime example.
We're just glad she didn't keep all this happy news a secret.
