Step aside red carpet veterans! Kate Hudson is turning heads with her own special guests.
Saturday morning proved to be the start of a special day for the actress who chose her two sons as her "dates" to the premiere of Dreamworks' Kung Fu Panda 3.
Before the clock stuck 9 a.m., the proud mom began chronicling the star-studded event on Snapchat with a few behind-the-scenes moments.
"Look at all those big feet," she joked to Ryder Robinson as the camera panned down to his pair of Converse. He later replied, "I can't fit into any other shoes in the store."
Kate added, "It's your first red carpet ever Ryder. How do you feel?" Instead of uttering one word, the 12-year-old looked into the camera with a slight nervous look. Hey, can you blame him?
After arriving at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, however, the family-of-three looked like pros as they posed for photos and talked to a few reporters.
The proud mom wore a floral Monique Lhuillier gown with Jimmy Choo heels and rings from Jennifer Meyer. Meanwhile, Ryder opted for black pants and a blue button-down as Bingham Bellamy added a blazer to his look.
"My kids are super excited!" Kate recently shared with E! News when asked about the family's views on her latest film role. "It was so last minute for me and they were like, do you want to come do it? And I was like, 'yes.' And it was all a bit of a whirlwind."
Kate replaced Rebel Wilson as ribbon dancer Mei Mei in the 3D animated film slated for release on Jan. 29. Reports say the Pitch Perfect star had to bow out after the production schedule was extended.
Angelina Jolie, Jack Black and his son, Lucy Liu and Bryan Cranston were also on-hand Saturday morning for the Hollywood premiere.
