Courtesy EndyMedAwards season is upon us, and it's no secret that celebs go to extremes to get red-carpet ready.
While the rich and famous are notoriously vague on the details of what measures they take to achieve picture-perfect skin, we have it on good authority that the cutting-edge EndyMed facial at Kate Somerville tops the treatment list for A-list celebs (who, sorry, can't be named).
The timely, two-hour beauty treatment (which pierces skin with multiple mini-needles and zaps the face with collagen-stimulating, radio-frequency technology) is not your average facial. We're not usually ones to willingly prick our faces, but for instantly taut skin on par with celebs, we were up for giving it a go.
The result? Smaller pore sizes, less obvious fine lines and wrinkles and smoother skin tone and texture. Sure, you could get that over time with several less intense facials, but this one session can garner you the same effect in less time, said Melissa Haloosim, Kate Somerville Head Nurse and Clinic Co-Director. No wonder celebs opt for EndyMed at least three days before an event.
The top-of-the-line treatment is surprisingly non-invasive, but it will cost you. If you're up for shelling out the $3,000 price tag, you won't be disappointed. To get the best results, however, it is recommended to get three treatments one month a part (who has $9,000 for us to borrow?).
