Pretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale wasn't lying when she said she's an adventurous eater. The actress appeared on Live! With Kelly and Michael Tuesday to promote the show's return on Freeform (formerly known as ABC Family), and Kelly Ripa noted that Hale is a fan of Andrew Zimmerman's Travel Channel series Bizarre Foods. "I live for that show," Hale told Ripa and her co-host, Michael Strahan. "I mean, I could watch it all day long. I will try anything once, but..."

"Oh, you will?" Strahan asked. "We got something for you."

As Strahan wheeled out a food cart, Hale said, "I just got myself into some trouble." She should have looked over at Ripa, who said, "I was trying to signal you with my eyes. Like, 'Don't say it!'"

"I'm sweating!" Hale confessed.

Hale was then presented with four different menu options: chocolate-covered larvae ("OK..."), oxtail ("Absolutely not!"), grasshopper tacos ("Oh, my God!") and cold jellyfish ("Is that bad?"). The oxtail was a firm pass. "This just looks heinous!" she explained. "I'm not even going there!"

Strahan, meanwhile, laughed when he realized there were three forks on the food cart. "I'm not eating none of this!" he joked. When Hale and Ripa started with the chocolate-covered larvae, he teased, "That's too easy!" He didn't partake, but he did join them in eating the grasshopper tacos. "I just want everyone to see that this is real. There are grasshoppers in this," Hale said. Before she took her first bite, Strahan offered her lime juice. "Give it a little zing," she told him.

"I actually enjoyed those," Hale said. "Thank you."

Strahan marveled, "It tastes just like chicken!"

"It's not bad," Hale said. "I feel like I've got the legs in my teeth right now."

Hale didn't appear on Live! With Kelly and Michael to try unusual cuisines, of course. The 26-year-old actress was on the morning program to promote Pretty Little Liars, which sees the five female leads reuniting when Alison DiLaurentis (Sasha Pieterse) finds herself in trouble yet again. "I am finally not playing a teenager. It's amazing. Still younger than my actual age, but we're getting there," Hale said with a laugh. "So, we jump forward five years and the girls have seemingly lived an A-free life, but they're all called back to Rosewood at the request of Alison, so you figure out what they've been up to, the careers they've chosen, their new love lives."
