Yesterday, a Page Six item gave celebrity bloggers everywhere another reason to make fun of Pete and Ashlee Simpson-Wentz with its assertion that no celebrity mags wanted to buy baby pictures of little Bronx Mowgli because "covers of them tend not to sell well."

Much like visionary celebrity blogger Lindsay Lohan, the Fall Out Boy bassist knows a denial from his rep isn’t going to cut it, so he hopped on his blog Thursday night to set the record straight in post titled “Ring Ring, It’s the Truth Calling…

So let's answer that call and hear what Truth has to say...

“Truth is like every celeb couple we were offered mounds and mounds of money by mags from here to Guam to pimp out the baby,” Wentz writes. “We just don’t want to go down that road with him.”

He doesn't mean that as a diss to celebs that do sell their baby pics. As he explains, “We are followed day and night and that was fine when it was us but we are going to do our best to shelter Bronx from that as much as possible.”

But that doesn’t mean they'll keep their oddly (awesomely?) named bundle of emo to themselves forever, does it?

“We know there will be a time when we’ll share him with everyone because that insatiable curiosity becomes unsafe or simply because we’re proud parents who want to show him off!...so at some time, when it makes sense, Bronx will be out in the world.”

Until then: "Trust me he’s cute. He looks like his mommy."
