As if we needed any other reason to obsess over Taylor Kinney and Lady Gaga, the Chicago Fire actor just made us swoon with his adorable comments about his fiancé's big win for Best Actress in a Limited TV Series or TV Motion Picture at the 2016 Golden Globes.

"I knew that she was anxious," he recalled to E! News' Catt Sadler about the time leading up to the moment they called her name.  "Just everybody was really excited, the family, fans…I couldn't be more proud. To have her up there and just sing praises was great. She worked her tail off so it was a proud moment."

Unfortunately, Gaga was busy mingling backstage while Kinney chatted with us. He laughed, "She's running the gamut. I know that she would love to say hello to E! and to all the fans out there, but she's backstage doing photos and what have you. We're going to meet up in a little bit!"

Overall, the hunky actor could only describe the awards show with a beaming smile: "Great table. Great night. Just proud, just proud of my girl." Aw!

Meanwhile, we also caught up with Gaga and Kinney ahead of the show, before her big win. At the time, she still couldn't believe she was even nominated (we can only imagine how she felt after the win!).

"I was so surprised and shocked," she told Ryan Seacrest. "I was asleep in my house and my phone rang and it was all my friends texting me that I was nominated. I just couldn't believe it."

This being her first major TV role, she wasn't expecting a nomination. "I just didn't expect anything like that would happen," she continued. "It is my first film and television role. I've been a stage actress for many years. I've done a lot of theater stuff, but I've never done film. It's just so wonderful to be honored for my acting ability. I'm just thankful."

Well, we'd say this is a pretty amazing start to many more film and TV roles to come. Congrats again to the talented Mother Monster!
