Lady Gaga is best known for her outrageous lyrics, her outright affection for her fiancé Taylor Kinney and most recently for her Best Actress win for American Horror Story: Hotel at last night's Golden Globes.

What she's lesser known for is flying under the radar on the red carpet. While in the past the actress had made a production out of any and all public appearances, she's been leaning more toward classic, old-Hollywood glamour as of late. Take last night's Sophia Loren-inspired look, courtesy of celeb makeup artist Sarah Tanno, for example. To get the details on her metallic cat-eye and full look, keep reading.

For Complexion:

Step 1: For a radiant glow, start with clean, moisturized skin.
Step 2: Color correct and conceal blemishes before applying foundation over the entire complexion.
Step 3: Contour cheeks with a liquid bronzer.
Step 4: Highlight the high points of the face with a peach-colored liquid luminizer to create a soft glow.

For Eyes:

Step 1: To start, paint the eye from brow bone to lid with a flesh-colored eye shadow as a base.
Step 2: For eyeliner, map out the top and bottom lash lines with a black liner, like Lancôme Le Stylo Waterproof Long Lasting Eyeliner in Noir Intense.
Step 3: Dot the inner corner of the water line with a kohl eyeliner in white.
Step 4: Swipe the top lash line with a kohl eyeliner in a midnight blue shade, and then layer a swipe of navy cream shadow, like Giorgio Armani Eye Tint in #2, over that.
Step 5: For a final layer, trace a shimmery, blue shadow, like Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill Quad in #5, over the top, layered line. "Layering helps to add dimension and makes the navy metallic stand out, which brings something modern to such a classic look," assured the pro.

For Lips:

Step 1: For soft, natural lips, line lips in a rose shade and top that with a similar, nude-pink lipstick.
