Christian Slater, closet Star Wars nerd?!

The actor won the award for Best Supporting Actor in a TV Series for his work on USA Network's breakout drama Mr. Robot at the 2016 Golden Globes on Sunday night, and revealed himself to be a Harrison Ford fanboy when he took the stage.

"Hi, Harrison!"were the first words out of Slater's mouth, waving at the legendary Star Wars and Indiana Jones actor in the audience. Hey, we'd do the same thing.

Aside from Ford, Slater took his moment in the spotlight to thank his wife, Brittany Lopez, who he married in 2013.

"My God, thank you for making me the happiest man alive," he gushed. "You make all my dreams come true." Slater also thanked the series' creator Sam Esmail "for writing such a wonderful character and being such a creative, brilliant genius." (Slater, of course, plays the titular Mr. Robot.)

"Exciting time in the world right now," the show's Twitter account wrote. "Congratulations to @ChristianSlater on his #GoldenGlobes win. #MrRobot"

Slater beat The Good Wife's Alan Cumming, Wolf Hall's Damian Lewis, Bloodline's Ben Mendelsohn and Outlander's Tobias Menzies to take home the award.

Mr. Robot is up for Best TV Drama, and leading man Rami Malek was nominated for Best Actor in a Drama Series, but lost to Mad Men's Jon Hamm
