Here's hoping everyone remembered to put on deodorant.
Fans of The Bachelor, prepare for one of the show's weirdest group dates ever on Monday night, when Ben Higgins takes six of the ladies to a "Love Lab" to taste their chemistry. One of those tests? Smelling each other, and E! News has your exclusive first look at all the awkwardness.
"We're going to find out if the odors you give off are attractive to Ben," the doctor tells the six contestants, who immediately go wide-eyed and smell themselves. (Hey, we can't say we wouldn't do the same!) Cue Ben, wearing a blindfold, smelling each girl and telling the doctor what he thinks of their odor.
Olivia, who received the First Impression rose in the premiere, is described as "sweet" by the Bachelor, while single mother Amanda had a "beachy" smell, according to Ben. Two of the other ladies on the group date? Identical twins Emily and Haley, with Ben saying one smelled "fruity."
Phew, not so bad, right? But which of the girls smells "a little more sour" to Ben, which the doctor compares to "Chinese food"? Press play on our exclusive sneak peek above to find out.
But Ben will get a taste of his own medicine when the girls get the chance to smell him, too, with frontrunner Olivia telling E! News, "He smells amazing. He smells unreal." And talking about their "strong connection," Olivia revealed her game plan for the group date to us, saying she was focusing on "making eye contact and just laughing" with the Bach while on the group date.
The Bachelor airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
