At this point, we really shouldn't be surprised anymore when Grey's Anatomy puts Meredith's life in danger, but here we are with our jaws on the floor once more.
ABC has released the first look at what fresh emotional torture Shondaland has in store for us when TGIT finally makes its midseason return on Thursday, Feb. 11, and things aren't looking so good for the titular doctor. And we mean "lying bloody on the hospital floor" not good. (Is anyone else flashing back to Carter finding Lucy stabbed on the floor during season six of ER or is it just us?)
As if Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) with a potential mortal wound wasn't enough, the teaser still has to move on to the two other shows in the TGIT block. While neither Scandal or How to Get Away With Murder go as far as Grey's, they've got plenty to get tongues wagging. Exhibit A: Mellie (Bellamy Young) visiting Olivia Pope & Associates (as a client?!). And Exhibit B: Annalise (Viola Davis) screaming on her porch with a baby in her arms.
