Kristin Cavallari Gives a Step-By-Step Plan for Getting Back in Shape After Giving Birth to Her Third Baby

Kristin Cavallari is basically superwoman.

Not only does she have a successful career, a hot NFL hubby and three adorable munchkins, but she also manages to take care of all of that while maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

In fact, just six weeks after giving birth to little Saylor James Cutler, the 29-year-old sat down with E! News and dished her step-by-step plan for toning up after her third pregnancy.

"It starts with maintaining a healthy lifestyle during pregnancy," Kristin explained. "I worked out and ate the way I normally do: healthy 80% of the time, and 20% I ate whatever I wanted. I also worked out until a week before I had Saylor."

As for moving forward in a healthy manner after giving birth, the Balancing in Heels author says, "Breastfeeding helps a lot and eating the way I always do after having her. I avoid processed food as much as possible and I rely on tons of veggies, protein and complex carbs. I eat real food, including bacon and butter. I stay away from certain additives, which I talk a lot about in my book, and I eat organic as much as possible. I mostly eat at home and cook my meals so I know exactly what I am getting."

Though having a newborn doesn't give her all the time in the world to workout, she makes sure she gets at least something in four or five times a week.

"I just started lifting weights with my trainer but he's been kicking my butt," she reveals. "We do fast-paced workouts to burn more calories to lose the baby weight while lifting heavy weight. I'm working out with him twice a week and then two or three days I do DVDS, lunges, squats and sit ups at home."

Meanwhile, Kristin and Jay Cutler welcomed Saylor into the world on Nov. 23. The baby girl joins big brothers Camden Jack Cutler, 3, and Jaxon Wyatt Cutler, 1.
