Gigi Hadid seems to be living under a microscope these days, and for good reason. Any time the supermodel steps outside, she knocks it out of the park in the style department.
In true Gigi fashion, a recent jaunt in NYC made us question every outerwear decision we've ever made. Like any good, fashion girl, your coat rotation likely includes a classic leather jacket, and by now you're probably hip to the faux-fur trend. What's probably missing, though, is something with a combo of the two.
True, Ms. Hadid's floor-length version, expertly paired with leather pants, a metallic belt, a choker and pointed-leather booties might be a little too gaudy for the every girl's daily routine. However, it sets the tone for our next purchase.
To strike a balance between approachable and dramatic, opt for a shorter, waist-length jacket with a little more of a structured fit. If you can't find a fully-lined one, a collar full of faux-fur makes the same impact. This cool hybrid of the moto jacket and a faux-fur coat is ridiculously easy to wear and can be swapped in anywhere that you would wear a jacket. Off to yoga? Check. Date night? You're set.
