Attention all single people: If you're looking for love this year, several celebs may inspire you.

Steven Ward, a professional matchmaker, host of Tough Love, founder of the mobile app Love Lab and CEO of Master Matchmakers, told E! News exclusively there are stars who have set good examples when it comes to looking for love.

"There are a lot of celebrities out there that we can learn from," he said.

"The theme for 2016 is, 'Go for it,'" Ward added.

He offers several dating tips. One is to watch what you post on social media.

"If you're single and you're looking for love online, take a page out of Jennifer Lawrence's handbook," he said. "She doesn't have her own personal Facebook, Twitter or Instagram account because she knows that in all likelihood, she's probably going to post something that may not be so flattering."

Lawrence, who has dated Chris Martin and her X-Men co-star Nicholas Hoult, recently talked about her love life in an interview with Glamour. She said she is "picky" about choosing partners.

"I feel a spark very, very rarely," she said. And it's really only about spark for me. Not really anything else. You should see some of the people I find attractive."

What about a workplace romance?

While mixing business and pleasure is often frowned upon, many actors other than Lawrence have dated—and even married—their co-stars. Gwen Stefani and The Voice co-star Blake Shelton have been seeing each other since at least November, after both went through breakups.

"The boundaries of workplace romance have really kind of gone away," Ward told E! News. "[Stefani and Shelton] have coupled up for the same reason that any two people that work together that both went through a divorce or a breakup...they can relate to one another, they can empathize with one another."
