Watch: Hoda Kotb Says Finding Love Again Was a "Risky Move"

Hoda Kotb has been happily dating Joel Schiffman for more than two years, but there was a time when she didn't know if dating would be a good idea.

The Today show co-host sat down with E! News' Zuri Hall at The Sea Grill and talked about her the "riskiest" move she's taken lately. "My last risky move, and I don't call it a risky move anymore, was falling in love," Hoda said. "There is something about the later-in-life portion of the program. You meet someone and you think to yourself, 'Wow, I didn't know I could feel like this at my age.'"

Happy in her relationship with Joel AKA "Boots," Hoda said she didn't know if she would want things to change—even if that means not taking the next big step.

"I'm not sure," Hoda said when asked if she would get married. "I've gone down that road once, so I would've normally said definitely not, so the fact that I'm saying I don't know is saying something."

That's not a no, Joel!

But in honor of 2016, Hoda revealed which quality she would like to change about herself—she didn't call it a resolution—and she joked that her co-host, Kathie Lee Gifford, would agree with her.

"I'm a mess. I'm a mess," she said. "My purse is over there, and if you saw it you would be horrified. The other day I found a Christmas tree ornament and an apple and a thing of string cheese like in the plastic."

Hey, a girl's gotta eat!

"Kathie Lee would say I'm a mess," she added. "I've worn these Tory Burch shoes for eight years. I wear them almost every day on the show. [Kathie Lee] goes, 'Change your shoes.' I think she knows I'm all over the place...so I think I would try to get my act together."

Hoda revealed a whole lot more about herself when she and Zuri played a game of Never Have I Ever, which involved wine, of course. The morning show co-host confesses whether she has lied to a boyfriend, if she's shown up hungover for work and so much more. Watch to hear her admit the truth!

Hoda's new book, Where We Belong: Journeys That Show Us the Way, hit shelves Jan. 5, 2016.
