It seems even Seth Meyers can't shake the Making a Murderer obsession sweeping the nation.

Clearly taken with the trending 10-part documentary released on Netflix in December, the late-night talk show host decided to put his own spin on the buzz-worthy series and recreate his own version for his thousands of fans.

Titled Making a Talk Show Host, the short clip released Monday night relishes in Meyer's struggle as a vacationing host who must return back to work.

"You gotta come back," an NBC staff member delivers to a weary Meyers, who has been away from 30 Rockefeller Plaza for two weeks.

"They don't got no more reruns," the mystery voice says into the phone as a quip about the end of television's holiday slump.

Meyers is persistent, restating that he's been gone just two weeks. Apparently, that's enough time to completely forget what time the show that he's hosted for nearly two years begins every night.

"12:35," the mystery man reminds him. "God, that's late."

A bearded Meyers with an untamed mane—a clear nod to the series' protagonist, Steven Avery—unexpectedly graces the final shot of the clip.

It's a perfect topping on the freshly-baked parody pie.
