Teresa Giudice Shares New Year's Family Message in First Twitter Post Since Being Released From Prison

Real Housewives of New Jersey star has been enjoying the holiday season with her kids

New year, but same strong family bond.

Less than two weeks after Teresa Giudice was released from federal prison, the Real Housewives of New Jersey star returned to social media with her first Twitter message for 2016.

"Wishing everyone a healthy and happy New Year from our family to yours!" she wrote Sunday afternoon to her million-plus fans and followers.

In the post, husband Joe Giudice and their four daughters pose in matching black attire while standing in front of the fully decorated Christmas tree. The Bravo star's last tweet was from September when she commented on Pope Francis' visit to the states.

While it's only been a few days since Teresa returned to her family and friends in the Garden State, the Fabulicious author has been keeping busy and soaking up her new sense of freedom.

Whether enjoying yoga with her sister-in-law Melissa Gorga or shopping for groceries with another gal pal, things are slowly but surely getting back to normal.

"Hi everyone, I'm back," Teresa shared in a recently released video for Bravo. "I just want to wish everyone a happy New Year. It's going to be a great 2016. Love, love, love you all."

Ultimately, the New Year will still be bittersweet for the Giudice family. Joe is expected to begin a 41-month prison sentence towards the end of March.
