Let's cut to the chase—will there be romance in a galaxy far, far away?

Ellen DeGeneres got right to the point when the stars of Star Wars: The Force Awakens stopped by her set to dish all about the highly anticipated follow-up to the beloved sci-fi franchise.

"Just one quick question and the movie comes out tomorrow, so we're all gonna know anyway you might as well tell us now," she posed to the trio of Hollywood breakout stars, John Boyega, Daisy Ridley and Oscar Isaac. "Any romance between these characters that we will see and if you lie to me I'll be mad."

"I think it's very subtle romance that's happening," said Isaac, who plays Poe in the film. "You have to just look very closely you have to watch it a few times to see the little hints but there was. At least, I was playing romance. In the cockpit I was playing, there was a deep romance there."

As for Boyega, who portrays the film's male lead character Finn, he was too busy running around like a mad man to manage any flirtations on the side.

"See, Finn is not the romantic guy right now," he began. "He's always sweating and panting or running. He doesn't really have time for that." We have to admit—no one wants to cozy up to a sweaty dude, even if he is the dreamiest guy in the galaxy.

As for the lone lady of the group, Ridley, who plays Rey, offered up some optimism.

"We shall see," she teased.

However, before we start forming conspiracy theories for the remaining hours until the film opens in theaters, Ridley could simply be pulling our chain.

"Not necessarily, but it's exciting to say 'we shall see.'" she added.

Quit playing games with our hearts, Daisy!
